The repertion is when they say “hERE”, “thERE” and “everywhERE.”
I have choose this line:
“It cracked and growled and roared and howled.”
The reason I choose this line was because it shows the way the ice is separating. It also shows how it sounded in ways animals would sound like. The mariner may feel scared for the fact that he may be the reason the why the ice started cracking.
I believe that the poet used personification for the storm is because it shows how the storm controls other people at times. The other reason why the poet used personification is to show how they move and sound when the waves clash into the boat.
