chapter 2-haroun

Rashid has forgot how to tell stories so he has left the town of G to the town of K. Haroun meets a bus driver called Mr Butt who takes them to the valley of k. The way they had to do was to drive during sunset so they can see how beautiful the valley is. At the destination (during the night) they meet Mr Buttoo and takes them into a splended house.

“His papa stories won’t fly of.”

I believe this means that Rashid’s stories will not fade in the valley of k.

  1. You have shown that you are able to select a quotation and explain it. You have a clear understanding of the events of this chapter, but you should try to explain how some events lead into others. For instance, why was it important to Haroun that his father should see the sunset?
